I’ve been an educator for over 20 years as a teacher and counselor and love helping others! I have a passion for helping students and families navigate decisions as school and life intertwine. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special and Elementary Education and a Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology. I began my teaching career in Dekalb County Schools as a Special Education teacher. After 5 years of teaching, my husband joined the military and relocated our family many times throughout the United States and Germany. I began my school counseling career in 2001 and have served as a counselor at the elementary, middle and high school levels. I’ve served an array of students in diverse populations which includes: Georgia, Texas, Germany, South Carolina, West Virginia and Minnesota. I’m ecstatic to return to Georgia to reconnect with family and share my experiences with the Temple High School community!
