SENATE YOUTH PROGRAM WINNER

Kortia Williams was nominated as the Temple High School Senate Youth Program (SYP) representative.  She completed an application that was submitted for system-wide judging.  It is my pleasure to announce Kortia Williams as the SYSTEM WINNER for the SYP!  She will compete at the congressional district level next by taking a test.  Please help me in offering Kortia our congratulations.

**On the February 8, 2010  Academic Bowl meet at Callaway High School, Temple's varsity and JV teams won 5 out of 6 matches.  Our varsity team bested Mt. Zion HS and Manchester HS, while the JV team Beat Manchester HS, Villa Rica HS, and La Grange HS.  Our JV team won fourth place overall among the JV teams.
