Senior Beta Club

All rising 9th grade Jr. Betas will become honorary Sr. Beta Club members until the first semester is completed. This allows them to attend Sr. Beta Club meetings and participate in club activities with the exception of Sr. Beta Convention. In January, the sponsors will check grade point averages (G.P.A.) to determine who qualifies for Sr. Beta. Students must have a 3.5 overall G.P.A. to be invited into the club.

After students are inducted, they must maintain an 85 avg. If a student fails to meet this requirement, they will be placed on academic probation for one nine-week grading period. At that time, they will be removed from the club, if they have not made the probation requirement.

Also, Betas must perform one (1) service projects for school/community/charity organizations per month. A record will be kept of all service projects completed throughout high school years.
