FEA officers, Advisor Tammy Kinney, Principal Wilson of Sharp Creek Elementary, Media Specialist Sharon Wilkins of Sharp Creek Elementary. FEA donated 6 books to Sharp Creek Elementary at the end of the Jumpstart Read for the Record Event on September 20, 2007. Our members read The Story of Ferdinand to the Pre-K, 1st and 2nd graders and then conducted activites related to the story. They also presented each child with a sticker and a certificate.

Katie Reagan, Katelynn Whispell and Parker George hosted the same event at Little Tigers Learning Center in Temple and donated one book to the Pre-K classes. They read to the 3 yr olds and the two Pre-K classes. They did the story, activities, stickers and certificates, as well.
