Mrs. Winfrey graduated from University of West Georgia in 2006 with her bachelor's degree in English Secondary Education.  She earned her master's in English Secondary Education at Jacksonville State University in 2013.  Mrs. Winfrey also holds certification in special education and has a gifted endorsement on her teaching certificate.


Mrs. Winfrey has been teaching since 2006.  She began her career at Rockmart High School in Polk County, Georgia, where she taught English courses of all grade levels.  Mrs. Winfrey also served as a long-term sub at Carrollton High School for one semester before transitioning to Lithia Springs High School.  Mrs. Winfrey came to Temple High School in fall of 2014 and has enjoyed being a tiger ever since.  Mrs. Winfrey serves as one of two cheerleading coaches for the high school.  She developed a love for coaching cheerleading when she was at Rockmart, and she is excited to be part of THS athletics.  Go Tigers!
