Every year each high school in the district is asked to nominate a 12th-grade student to represent the school in the United States Senate Youth Program. Nominees from each school are evaluated by a panel of judges, and one is selected to represent the county at a state level competition. Winners selected are invited to attend a week-long leadership training experience in Washington D.C. in the Spring. Daniel Anderson was selected as Temple High School's representative, and he was also selected to represent Carroll County Schools in the state-level competition. He is an excellent student and leader at Temple High School and we are proud to have him represent the district in the next stage.
